What You Missed: The New Male in My Life and My New Office.

      there is a new guy in my life.  His name is Bob and he lives on my desk in my office at work!  I love him!  He was gift from my coworkers.  His tank looks so bare, I have since added a live plant that flowers and has take over!  He watches me work and swims to the surface when I feed him.  He defiantly brightens my days!

And now a tour of my office the first day of my promotion.  I should take new pictures, it looks so diffident now!  Sorry they are blurry, I was excited!  

I totally deserve all the confetti!  I have messed up many many many others work spaces for birthdays and anniversaries!  Pay back is a bitch!

These are the most beautiful flowers I have every been gifted with!  It was so nice that my birthday fell on the same week!  I got lots of pretties for my office!

Regret:  Yesterday, eating Thai food that was too hot for me, but I ate anyway cause I was that hungry!

To Do List:  1.)  Make a to do list...  I have my premade camping list done, but I need a food list for this trip.  

Love:  The many bracelets my dear friend Andrea gave me.  I jingled all over the office today!

Movie:  ParaNorman.  I saw 6 names I knew!  

Create:  Nothing, I had good ideas for jalapeno popcorn.  yumm

Juice Fasting

     my brother watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.  He was pretty excited about it and wants to do a juice fast.  Today I watched it too and I am hooked.  I have always wanted to try a juice fast.  Why put off for tomorrow what you can do today?  I have decided to go for it!   This Friday afternoon I will start a 5 day juice fast!  I am hoping to make it to 15 days, but we will see how it goes.  Reboot has great "meal" plans, check it out!  :)

Love= Sharks

     i heart sharks.  Heart, Heart, Heart!!!  I love that they are ancient, focused, graceful and fierce.  They are just beautiful, but I do love most of our underwater friends.  I am sure this is one of many "Love="s on sharks!  Today my mother and I were watching Jaws of the Pacific.  I love how the narrator [Malcolm McDowell] says shark, shAhrk.  We stopped watching once they started talking about shark attacks.  Blah.  I always get heated when surfers are surprised they get bitten and spat out...  Dude you taste gross, be happy she didnt eat you!

Such pretty babies!  Dont you just want to cuddle them?  I did!  :)

Productivity:  I cleaned my bathroom and moved in metal shelves for my tiny garden, also started a new tray of wheat grass.  Lots of work!  I also smashed my hand and almost blacked out from pain.  I will take pictures tomorrow!

Eggs fried:  4

Eggs eaten:  2, the others stuck to the pan and broke.  The animals enjoyed them!

Create:  I made some rags for rag curling my hair.  I didnt leave them in long enough...  Its a slight wave.

A Movie I Watched: Being Elmo

     i have always loved that Elmo's voice is by a black man.  I had always figured it was a tiny white girl.  Either way I love Jim Henson [and everything he Muppets] and to see how Kevin Clash find his way into his world was pretty awesome.  It was sweet and charming!  The kid that visited at the end was my favorite part.  The kid was totally a natural and I cant wait to see what he does when he grows up.  I did cry like a baby when Kevin talked about Jim Hensons death.  I kept thinking of this picture.  Kills me every time!

I wish I still had the passion I had as a kid.  I took a puppeteering class in middle school and I liked it.  [We wrote a play and I got to be the grandfather...]  Watching this movie made me want to make a puppet!  One of my coworkers told me my creates should be puppets, since I use so many silly voices at work...  Good thing or bad?  I am really considering it, but I dont really have a character in mind.  Seems like that should come first or is it the voice?  I have plenty of those!  I always wonder how they can keep all the voices they do straight in their heads.  Either way puppets are going on the list!

Being Elmo is now on Netflix Instant so go watch.  Right now.  Go!

Create:  None, I did work on reorganizing my room while watching the movie.  That has to count for something....

Moving Pictures: Margarita and Me

     this summer my friends and I made a bunch of movies, mostly scary ones.  We never got around to editing them, for many many reasons.  Today I thought I would try my hand at it.  I picked a short one and mostly just cut stuff out and added music.  It was a lot of fun!  It took a while cuase I had no idea what I was doing, but I really like the end result.  Hope you do too!

For dinner I made Tofu Curry.  It was very yummy!

Bald Eagles seen:  One!  At first I thought it was the biggest Red Tail Hawk I had ever seen...

My car was where:  At the bar...

Favorite new item for smoothies:  Baby Kale.  I got it from Costco and I love it!  Cant wait for a salad!

Wines tasted:  21, 2 sake and a bubbly berry thing.

Food eaten:  Eggs and toast, grapes, rice cake crackers, carrots, Amy's rice bowl.  Not enough!
People waved at from limo:  like 5 then my hand got cold...
Other highlights:  I got to see my friend in her wedding dress!  Gorgeous!  I also got to cuddle a sweet baby girl!  Good job Lindsey and Johnny!
