For the Love of Fridays: Solar Powered Roads?

   deep in my soul I am a tree hugging earth loving hippie.  My dream in life is to live on my own land in an earthship that is fully solar powered and grow my own food.  (I have also recently discovered "lazy rivers".  If I had one I would never leave home!)  This video popped up on facebook feed.  I was facinated.  I have heard about making roads solar powered in the past but this seems doable.  Like I could see this in my lifetime.

For the Love of Fridays: Star Party

Magnum Reversible Vest/Wrap I need to start knitting again.  I like this pattern because it is huge yarn and big needles.  I bet it would be really easy.

This video kicked my ABS!  I am still sore...

I need a Vipukirves!  I am not good at chopping wood.  In most cases I will just find twigs vs chop kindling.  Once the fire is going you can toss on the big chunks of wood.  

I went to a cool lecture at OMSI this week.  I learned that there will be a total solar eclipse August 21st 2017! image source

For the Love of Fridays: Learning is limited...

     well hello there!  I remember you.  Do you remember me?  I sure hope so.  So I used to write on Fridays about things I learned that week.  This a fun topic but there were things I wanted to add, like things that were funny or items for my wishlist.  I decided to mix it up and change it to For the Love of Fridays.  I hope you like it as much as I do!  

I went back to pub trivia this week and was reminded just how unsmart I am.  There is always a Greek God question.  Why do I learn more about them?
